Planning For Teaching
Before teaching in class, we have to know what have been the students learned and also know the condition in their class, because every class have the different condition. After knowing the condition of the class, we can put some methods and learning media that suitable for students. Also, we should prepared the materials, and we have to know very well about the materials.
Preparing Lessons and Materials
All of the teachers always preparing their lesson before their start teaching. There is two kind of lesson plan. That is detailed lesson plan and semi-detail lesson plan. The differences between both of them is in detailed lesson plan, the teacher also mention the activities included the possible respond from the students.
Media that teachers usually use in the class are manila paper, the video and sometimes with power point. It depends on the teachers and the materials want to disscuss about.
Teaching In class
In preparation step, teacher should follow the engage activities based of lesson plan. They are classroom management which is the teacher ask the students to fix their proper seating and clean by put several paper or rubbish. After that teacher ask the leader of the class to lead praying, then teacher checking the attendance. Sometimes, the teacher also review about the previous lesson.
In the discussion steps, the teacher will discuss a topic with their students. After that the teacher will be deliver the generalization of the lesson of that day.
In activate, the teacher choose which one the learning method that will use for student activities. Several time they do the activities based on group presentation, discussion, games, performance, and etc.
In the end of the class, the teacher make generalization and always asks to students if they have some questions or problems. And explain to the students why we need to study about the lesson.
Measurement and Evaluation
Teacher will give evaluation like worksheet, or activities in their book. Sometimes, Teacher give a homework to students. Also, give them some direct questions and brainstorming for refresh their memory.
In evaluation step, teacher always give several questions about the topic for evaluation, to find out how far students understanding of the lesson.
