Procedures of Teaching
The procedures of teaching in the class can be divided into several steps:
1. First, controlling the class with nice opening and greeting. So the students can respect you.
2. Give some motivation for begin a class
3. Warming up. Warming students with some brainstorming or icebreaking for review their memory
4. Reviewing the lesson
5. Do the lesson based on the lesson plan
6. Make some groupes activity
7. The last, close with giving them generalization and assignment
The keys is we should be controlling the class and the students.
Time Management and Organizing Activities
For time management the learning process divided into 5 parts, there are: Engage ( Classroom management, Prayer, Checking of Attendance, Motivation) ,Study (Presentation of the lesson, Discussion, Generalization), Activate, Evaluation, and Assignment. Because 1 periode is about 60 minutes, so I have to prepare very well about time management. I put 10 minutes for opening, 45 minutes for the activity class and 5 minutes for closing.
Problem-Solving
The problem was in language, because in Philippines there was a different pronunciation and some of Philippines have a traditional dialog like tagalog. But, do not worry, because the cooperating teacher, supervisor teacher and the buddies always support, accompany and taking care of us.
In teaching, time is not allow us to do more several materials and exercises. So the materials is not completely done. For science subjects, how to deliver and understanding the materials is very important. Also, giving more examples about the topics are needed.
Classroom management
In manage the class, I always started the class with some ice breaking and some motivation. Controlling the class with walked around and see their activity. Also, talked with them make me feel closed to them. Some of students are noisy, so I walked to them and ask to be quiet. Do not forget to check the time because the time is too short.
