Purposes of Practicum
The purpose of this practicum is to provide opportunity and to implement the skills, knowledges as a student teacher. And also, to improve our language and to learn the different culture from the other countries
Procedures of Practicum
Firstly, I do the observation to the class to know how the teacher delivers the lesson and know about the class condition. In this time, I am going to know the characteristic of the students. So,I can prepared good methods for every class that I will teach.
Before I teach in the class, I should make a lesson plan per meeting. I make a semi-detailed lesson plan. My mentor or critical teacher help me on doing my lesson plan. Therefore, she always give my some feedback, motivations and suggestions.
In the additional, teaching in front of the class already done based on my lesson plan. The students interested with my learning media because they found something new and curious about it.
Outcomes of Practicum
The outcomes of the practicum is I can get more experiences, more challengging, more interest on doing something, more confident and improve my knowledges. Not only improve my knowledge but also, I can learn about the difference culture, food, habits, attitude from the other countries and etc. I can open-minded and explore the beautiful things which I never get before.
The experience that I never forget it. Sweet memory can not be replaced it. It was very valuable lessons for my future. Thank you seameo, Sea teacher.
The challenges of practicum
The most challenges is when I taught in front of the class with english language for the first time. Because the pronunciation is different. And it made me learn more about their language.
Overall impression
My deep impression is how lucky I am to join this program. This program was very useful for people who want to explore and need to improve their knowledges. My team that consists of ten people which is very nice and good person from the other city from Indonesia. We always taking care each other and the story never end. Thank you for the mentor, critical teacher, cooperating teacher, the buddies and especially thank you seameo-sea teacher that give me opportunity to joint in this program.
Suggestions For Future Improvement
For the students teacher
I think it would be better if we prepared very well before we arrived in another country. We have to independent and keep spirit in every situation that we got it in the other country. Improve skills in english and do not forget to pray everytime and everywhere.
For this program
We as participant need more information from seameo. Because some of us get confused with the criteria of blog. Overall it is good. Once again thank you seameo
